A two-thousand year old burial mound was "in the way" when local authorities planned building a new elementary school. As the artefact was protected by law, they solved the dilemma by including it in the school yard. An opportunity to teach the kids their ancient history. The contrail of a jet liner ignores history.

Full-spectrum Nikon Z6, Zoom-Nikkor 35-70mm f/3.5 (72mm filter version), false-colour IR.

No hotspotting

Great idea and the image.

February 12.

Our government is validating the temporary air route to accommodate the potentially increasing traffic for the Olympics.  A jet plane seen in this size in Shibuya, Tokyo is insane.  At 100%, you will see the landing gears.

Shot with Sigma fp and 45/2.8 kit lens.

The AF worked nicely to focus at the jet, and the exif says that the distance was 1000m!  I'm not sure if the data is reliable, but it is surprising enough to know that a 45/2.8 lens can (or pretends to) detect such a long distance!

It is too low.  The jet looks and sounds too overwhelming.

When one lives virtually next door to Heathrow low flying aircraft are not unusual!

At an Event yesterday... or Bikes Forever  :) .  Did not shoot much of the Event since received very bad news shortly after this shot and had to leave.  Z6/24-70 f4S.    I really wanted to talk to the woman about her mobile book store and how she operates :)
