That Voigtländer 180mm f/4 such a great lens. Lovely oof.

Looove the way you put that voigt to use.

Thanks. Yes. a great lens, and easier to focus on the Z 6  (Hoorah)  Today was difficult outside with a severe wind.

The 24-70/4s is still giving me mixed emotions. It is VERY useful. Came with me to the recent Rome trip and It is so versatile with very good optical performance -but vignetting, I find it too much at times- The thing is I keep using it but can´t get excited about it. I´m lucky to have more interesting tools at my disposal. I´ll keep it. 400€! Time will tell if ours is a long time relationship.  :)
I understand the problem.  The lens is too 'smooth'  and that means also 'boring' I Guess  ;)     I have  AF-D  35-70/2.8  Very very good lens, but boring....

most of these standard zooms are highly optimized picture making machines sans character. I know the 1.4/58, 1.4/105 and 1.4/24 are wonderful lenses with a lot of character. If you use these on a regular basis you are spoiled.

Exactly my point. 105 1.4, 58 1.4 and 28 1.4e in my case. I´m not complaining  ;)

I love the color combination and the attentiveness of the horse. PS: the 4/300PF is no slouch either...

Tried my 21mm f/4 Voigtländer Skopar lens on the Z50.
I already like the composition, but the color choices (the hot orangey-red especially) here are very diggable.

Thanks, Keith. Early morning sun grazing the alder trees in front of the building made it easy to use interior light as a counter point.
