Thanks. Yes. a great lens, and easier to focus on the Z 6  (Hoorah)  Today was difficult outside with a severe wind.

I understand the problem.  The lens is too 'smooth'  and that means also 'boring' I Guess  ;)     I have  AF-D  35-70/2.8  Very very good lens, but boring....

most of these standard zooms are highly optimized picture making machines sans character. I know the 1.4/58, 1.4/105 and 1.4/24 are wonderful lenses with a lot of character. If you use these on a regular basis you are spoiled.

Exactly my point. 105 1.4, 58 1.4 and 28 1.4e in my case. I´m not complaining  ;)

Thanks, Keith. Early morning sun grazing the alder trees in front of the building made it easy to use interior light as a counter point.
