I have been wondering where the Christmass tree, I could see at night where, to day I found it ;)
D500 200-500 @390mm slightly cropped to 16:9 format (too much sky)

The pier with our christmas tree and surroundings seen from a distance on a tripod with the Df and AF-I Nikkor 300mm f/2.8D IF-ED, aperture f/11. No problem with the autofocus motor, but I prefer manual focusing. Date: 21. december.

Ready to take a picture when, just as I pressed the shutter, a gush of wind moved a piece of plastic and cover the view  :)

Z6 -- 35mm f/1.8S

managed to get a lot of bad shots with the z blurry, distorted or otherwise failed,
horizontal flickerlike banding,
changed the shutter settings now to automatic, played with silent shutter etc,
the z is complicated not really all that straight forward, well it's new allright and the weight
is comfortable ;D

Beautiful shot Fons, the color combination is wonderful! 

I wrestled with Electronic First Curtain Shutter vs Mechanical Shutter until the firmware update that allowed for auto-selecting EFC or Mechanical shutter depending on shutter speed and I guess some other variables.  The very quiet EFC along with the new S lenses and the size and weight of the Z6 have made it my all time favorite camera.
