Thanks.

Smooth. Easy to focus, but focus ring turns counter clockwise to infinity.

Long focus throw, around 300, for precise focusing. Damped.  Built-in Sunhood.
Close focus is 1.20m  which is very good,  bokeh nice

Weight and length are more or less identical as the Nikkor Ai-S  180/2.8 ED which is pretty compact for a fast 200mm.

Six lens elements and eight aperture blades makes it an uncommon lens.

No the palm was shot with the  200mm f/3    Vivitar Series 1  made by Komine  around 1977, a bit faster than the 200/3.5 ED

November 4

Building site

D850, 15mm f/3.5 ais

My copy needs some preparation shooting, fix the iso here at 64, choose manual, compensate 2-3 stops underexposure.

It would make a big difference if you had the lens chipped. PS you have set camera to 135mm I believe, but really this lens is one where we have seen the largest effect of a correct CPU!
