Hmmm, seems that I'm not the only one shooting mirrorless this time

Last time it was an A7RII with the Nikkor 50/1.2, this time it will be a Z6 but haven't figured out which lens(es) to bring yet.

I'll take the opportunity to try to become a closer friend with the Z system. As I don't bring any camera other than the Z6, I'm kind of leg-shackled to the Z as it were. Not certain that leads to a deeper commitment afterwards, but am open to the possibility at least.

What exactly is the program for this Get Together?
I'm afraid that joining you at 10 AM in the morning will be a bit difficult (my cat wouldn't appreciate, her favourite playing time!) but being around 12 'o clock in The Hague might be possible. So I'm considering to attend a bit of the afternoon program - and rush home just before the end of the afternoon.

But I'm a bit puzzled about all the Z's coming, nobody inclined to bring the opposite of a digital mirrorless camera instead?

I could take the D850, but the Z6 is lighter    Not sure which lenses yet, probably  the 50/1.8S

I will bring my beloved D500 with grip. This is a fun event, not a job. Lenses ? I dunno. With the 2/200 I might prefer the D850... decisions will be late and spontaneous. I could do with my X100T alone...

The D500 is so snappy, with the same pixel count as the D850 which again is a wonderful camera, or the Df a different experience all together. So what to take the introverted approach with a few primes or fire away with a powerful zoom .
Right i have no Z, strange enough here in this country they are €400 more expensive than neighbouring lands.

The Agenda for Saturday

Morning session:
We will meet around 10am in front of Hotel Sebel and go for coffee.
We will draw two topics/motives for our photo race.
We will stroll toward the city center / Den Haag Centraal.

Afternoon session:
Lunch at Mingle Mush around 13:00.
Draw the other two topics and shoot wherever.

Evening session:
We can have dinner together around Hotel Sebel.
I can book a place. For that I will need the exact number of participants and preferred time, 19:00?.

I humbly nominate Frank for the following:
- create numerous and exciting topics that we can use for our morning and afternoon draws;
- create a Whats App group so that we can have an easier way of communication throughout this get-together.

16mm 2.8, 24mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4, 105mm 2.0 DC all to be used on my D850.


Picked up a bottle of the usual liquids at duty free,,,,
