Every photographer's dream, capture a beautiful old building like this (church, I assume), and have a cancerous tumor (microwave tower?) ruin the view! Consequently, I'm not sure that saying " Good catch, John" is entirely appropriate.   ;)

It was my intention to show this contrast, Carl.  The extra wide angle (17mm) gives all opportunities to manipulate your background.   A synagogue is a Jewish church, by the way.

Don't misunderstand, I was not negatively criticizing your image, John, the scene was well spotted. My remarks were more about the choice of locating that tower where it would detract from beauty of the synagogue view.

Let´s not forget the third contrast with the young smiling woman in movement! Can not be more opposite with the rest if you try. This makes the shot with old synagogue and the odd sci-fi like tower. Great detail and lines by the way- Looks like you close down the lens quite a bit

Currently on the Western coast of Norway. It is wet -- *very wet*. So many waterfalls that warning signs about yet another boring waterfall ahead can be spotted :)

Thanks Paco.   Yes I needed a bit more in focus, so used the f/8
