This photo shows nearly twenty - 20 - identifiable aquatic species. Amongst them a knotweed
(Persicaria foliosa) endemic to Fennoscandia, which is a biological rarity in itself as this part of the world saw deep glaciation 12-14.000 ago.
In the front row, to the right in the Petri dish, is the über-tiny
Elatine triandra I exhibited macro photos of earlier. If you cannot see it on the overview, perhaps providing a 100% crop makes identification easier? Just follow the red arrow and there it is
