Wow, I love this, Fons!  Enigmatic wavy line sneaking into the otherwise ordinary scene.
Yes, lovely shot
Also think it the staking helps the image, makes it more present.

Fons, your color explosions have passion in it.

Thank you fellows :)

A very late magnolia survived the cold...

D850  5.8cm/1.4

John, I like the delicate overall rendition, but the focused area looks very sharp.  Is this an old, the first f1.4 F-mount Nikkor?

One more liking ars et natura. It works in harmony, has impact, mysteriously attractive and gives strenght to all the parts in contrast with the others.

Thanks Akira. Yes.  The center of the lens is extremely sharp wide open. The corners however are pretty soft.  A somewhat extremer effect than the 35/2 O-version

Thanks Frank.

Great concept and execution!  The braided hair and the shapes of hands go perfectly in harmony!

Frank's clover is probably Trifolium incarnatum. No idea as to Andrew's spider except that it is literally a good catch!

Thank you all. I don't use this lens much because of the  focal length but then again, everytime I use it, I seriously love it. With the Z6 nailing the focus everytime and the lens magic... I'm blessed with my gear  :)

New students Frank! Lola left to persue another studies.

Franks image is beautiful but I'm captivated by the raw strenght of Andrew's piece if nature.

    Thanks for sharing!
