Time has come to explore the hidden beauties of the little Tussilago farfara flowers gracing road verges near my house. In visible light they appear yellow all over, but not so in UV.
A test shot with the broad-spectrum modified Nikon D600 and one of my UV-Nikkor 105mm f/4.5 lenses, using the Baader U ('Venus') filter. Taken at f/11, 100 ISO, 2 sec during a nagging spring wind that impact final sharpness, but by trying to hit the lulls in the wind passable results can be obtained.
The familiar Colorchecker Passport indicates another dimension of the colour rendition - all colours are truly false. However, as they are reproducible, I for one don't mind.
