After sorting through the batch of photos from last weekend, there is one photo that sticks head and shoulders above the rest of the pack.
Taken with a borrowed D800 and an 80-200 f4 Ai-S zoom Nikkor

Impressive shot, Buddy !  Great !

Around our ugly 1970ies heap of concrete CityHall in the very center of Bonn is a great public space that is no more than a public heap of dirt currently.

It could be so much more: A nice and friendly public park where children play and old people walk and inbetween people take a rest from their strenuous working days in shops and offices nearby.

Perpendicularly small lots could be sold to families wanting to build and live there, a great variety of individually developed living space.

Better for the public and better for the inhabitants than the current waste of space here.

Love

Frank

I now need to make 2 photos to prove a point. Will get back to that 1970's pile of concrete topic soon
Buddy

Went up to the cabin with provision for the easter holiday today. I couldn't resist the urge to try the fish. The weather is suppose to stay like this for the next week 8) Note to self; clean the lens! :)

I even saw a Dasypoda hirtipes in my lot today, a rare species here, which adds up to at least 12 species today:

Børge, did you catch some nice trout?

'shooting into the sun can expose dirt on the front element in a merciless manner :)

I didn't, but I have high hopes for the days ahead. I'm planning for at least one dinner with arctic char or trout so I just have to keep trying ;)
