Frank - your Parkhauspano is great!  The Guggenheim Museum transplanted, or a UFO lifting off ...

Redwing blackbirds are making their way back to their springtime spots. I don't often shoot birds, but this seemed to capture their spirit.

Not broken, simply unlocked.

A very distinguished looking lady !
Thank you, getting old is making her more cranky :)

A walk with the old 35mm f2.8S adapted to the D800

Shot wide open , amazing and fun little lens, found a car that may be about as old as the lens

Spirit Locker

Hmmmm, an unfamiliar bourbon, and a familiar gin. I like Maker's Mark, but don't know how it compares to Town Branch. I'm not into the more floral botanicals gin, like Tangueray (the best way I know of to ruin a martini), instead preferring the more traditional such as Bombay Safire Blue. We might agree on the vermouth, it looks like it could be Martini Rossi.

I  quite like your Spirit Locker, cheers!  ;D

This table is from my father-in-law’s house (passed down from his father-in-law as things turn out). After he died, not one of his children wanted it so I got it. Many a time over the years I drank from this little bar so it has a good pedigree. As for Town Branch, I’ve never tried it but will do so tomorrow on my birthday. The liquor store didn’t have any of my favorite bourbons - Old Grand Dad, Wild Turkey to name two - so I tried something new. As for Maker’s Mark, a pal of mine swears by it but I find it too smoky for a regular drinking whiskey. Finally, martinis - that is indeed Martini and Rossi but it is there for my guests. I drink my gin straight, shaken not stirred (!), so it may not even qualify as a martini. I do like some fruit in it, an onion, an olive or a lemon peel twist, but never all three at once!

Wonderful color and composition and even the windmills look good (something I would rarely say as I generally find them to be scars on the landscape and a hazard for birds).
