drive in the baja desert

That scene could be mere minutes from my home. It's so like Mesa, Az. that nobody here would think of Baja when viewing it Really nice shot Armando!

Frank i wonder what you agreed with the seller, my private thought anyway.

I am in contact with the seller. No issues were labelled. All my used items always go to NPS after arrival for check & clean. We will see if a repair is necessary or not and what it might cost. The other lens was flawless, only slightly dirty, no issues according to NPS.

Hopefully the clouds will not be to thick to night, as my homemade “Barn door tracker” is ready for first test.
May have to revise it.

Lloyd Chambers mentions that stopping down lenses on the D850 changes wb significantly.

With Sigma lenzen (Non-Nikkors) ?

I quote from the link

Quote
The behavior shown here occurs in various fast lenses, not just Sigma lenses. It appears to be related to the Nikon D850 sensor design

Lloyd Chambers is not really a reliable source with his attitude of hiding everything between pay-walls.

My Nikon repair facility greets its users with an exploded view of a D800. Never so bad it cannot get worse.

Wow! awesome job

I wish luck with the weather and a lot of patience getting it aligned

It appears to take its hat off to the customers.

The alignment was difficult, must find something better than the tube.
And the I have to turn the knob the reverse direction of what I thought  8)
