Thank you on all counts. I am a contrast freak, so I tend to be a little heavy on that slider. These are a few years old, so maybe a combo of low on the processing learning curve and an older monitor may contribute to the overcooking. I've never been any good on the tech need of photography. What I lack in technical expertise I tried to make-up with enthusiasm.

So for you Jan Anne, (your names rhyme), I'll stick with B&W's.  ;)

Amigo, there are no monkey shots in this topic :P

Like us humans the orangutans, chimps and gorillas are all great apes ;D

Common mistake btw in the NL because we call both "aap", though great apes are officially referred to as "mens aap" nobody seems to know or care to do so.

Wow Gary! I like them all but #1 is simply stunning. One thing I noticed in all the images you posted first is sadness. They all seem to display various degrees of sadness. I also LOL'ed when I saw your monkey business pictures :D
