#1 is one of the best Zebra shots I've ever seen. One of those where I could bite my ass for not having done something similar when I had the chance.

#6 is not just an outstanding shot but also a strong political statement.
Wish I would be able to say so much with a single image.

cheers

The zebra is fantastic, and I also like the lion - looks like a wise old man.

Numbers 1, 5 and 6 for me. No. 1 is wonderfully aesthetic, no 5 has so much expression, and no 6 conveys all the tragedy of the captured animal. To me, at least.

The Zebra is absolutely great, and the Lion.  Looks like a mugshot after his arrest.

Really dig the shots of the Grévy's zebra and the Orangutan, very well spotted and captured with the latter showing your PJ skills of telling a story with a single image.

The colour images look a bit over cooked for my taste however, I'm a big sucker for spot metering animal portraits when they stand in front of a shadowy background but somehow the processing of the exposed area's looks a bit overdone and unnatural.

Cheers,
Jan Anne

The lion was behind bars.
