Thanks Akira. Moholy-Nagy was also interested in photography. You might know his book "Malerei Fotografie Film" from 1927, where he starts with a comment, mentioning, that photography is already more than 100 years old and that "our seeing" has just achieved a level, that we realise, how photography is or can be used to form and shape. Also color photography started about then to get speed.

Werner, thank you for the info on the book by Moholy-Nagy.  I haven't been familiar with this particular book, but I was intrigued by his work when I saw one of his work at the Staatsgalerie Moderner Kunst in Munich in the early 80s, and eventually interested in the whole works of Bauhaus.

today I combined the razor thin DOF of the 1.4/105E @f/1.4 with the D850ies movable display and a frog's perspective to capture this micro snowman sign'o'times:
