Some familiar places through the whole series. It is interesting to see how you photograph a world I'm quite familiar with and to read your comments on the light.
We are coming into winter now with the potential for clouds, rain and low slanting light which make the landscape much friendlier to the camera's eye. Summer can be difficult.

Thank you, Jack. Really a huge site.

Nvidia, originally a gamer's dream graphics board company started with the idea to use graphics boards for highly parallel computing tasks in science, stuff formerly done by supercomputers Cray and the like. Lately Bitcoin Miners started to use these. Now that Bitcoin goes South, Nvidia suffered some serious revenue ditch ... have been working as a computer journalist for many years in the times when 3Dfx and Cirrus Logic and Matrox were still serious contendors to ATI/later AMD ... before NVIDIA hit the scene ... Nvidia means "Envy"....

My site is small, very small to Jack's, only 265sqm lot, 520 sqm living space in four flats. I decided to build a common roof garden for the three flats that miss a garden in the city. Here a rendering of it; you can go up by stairs or lift:

Tilburg, the City of Demolition.

Here the remains of the Midi - Theatre, only rebuilt a few years ago, but with too much political mistakes.

In the background the 19th century Saint Joseph church

That should be an extremely unusual case, especially in Europe.  Could you elaborate the situation a bit more?

It's a long story. This used to be a movie-theater for more than 40 years. But they stopped screening. Cityhall bought the theater and they claimed national TV wanted the stage as broadcasting Studio for the South of Netherlands.  It was rebuilt in a very short time, at very high cost. When later there was no interest in National TV and Expenditures were much higher than the forecast, three Elderman had to leave their position. Also new elections came, and in the aftermath of an official inquiry also the mayor came into problems and had to resign.

What remained after all this, was a modern theater, without any political support....

I'll say quite close to premiere , what else do you see it is missing?
This was a rehearsal, using that piece of costume for the first time and looking for possibilities. I love the outcome.
It is not missing much but it is in the place were everything can change. Most ingredients are there but it is not fully cooked and presented yet.

Interesting timeless, feminine, minimalist and very cinematic portrait by the way.

The idea of suffocation comes along well ... I do not like the idea, but it might be necessary to express it for artistical reasons...

Thank you, John.  I thought that such a near-sighted planless planning would be typical of the Japanese government.  But I seem to be wrong...
