Brief but intimate NG meeting in Shibuya, Tokyo

Jonathan (JJChan) and his son Josh, a nice and well-mannered guy who has just graduated from the high school, are visiting Tokyo.  So, why don't we spend some time together?

Interestingly Jonathan, Josh and I share the same interest other than the photography: music and musical instruments.  So I decided to show them around some record shop and the music stores.

As with the meeting with Airy, we agreed to post each others portraits.

1.  Jonathan and Josh at a music shop trying a headless fanned-fret guitar.
2.  After the stroll, we spend our last hour at a cafe.

Yes - we had a very blessed time with Akira-san who was most generous with his time and very patient whilst we looked through Tower records and gazed at many musical instruments.
Akira - though a bassist has pretty good shredding chops - the headless guitar was a Strandberg - Swedish design. We had a very fine afternoon -  lovely way to spend our last day in Japan. If anyone here needs to get ANY information on music technology or want to know about any musician (Akira seems to have met them all!) he is your man.

FWIW, "Otamatone" was developed by Meiwa Denki which is actually a unit of the artists who are brothers:

"Otama" stands for Otamajakushi which means "tadpole".  We japanese call a musical note "Otamajakushi", because they (especially a quarter note or an eighth note) look like a tadpole.
