David, Are you saying this is not normal  ...I thought you must just sit on a rock in the river and the ginger piper appears? kind of like the Irish leprechaun.
Lucky for me I was with a group of photographers so it will have been well documented

The river looked a lot less angry when I was there. I remember sitting on a rock in the middle of the river. listening to a lone piper standing on another rock in front of me. It was pretty surreal and a memory I will never forget.

now everybody remembering the river, I looked at my pics and can say, yes, I remember it as well,
but Davids  pics are much better, so I have to come back and try it again
In case we find paths, where I do not sink half into mud, I am in.

Can I just direct anyone who might join us in Scotland, to the thread "Could there be another Scottish spring?" in FUTURE NG EVENTS.

A list of probable participants has been started there - get your names on the list, Erik, Lars, Thomas, Bent . . . .

We had one sunny day but now the weather is grey, overcast; however this gives great saturation without the complication of hard shadows.

Can I just remind anyone who wants to join our Scotland 2 Week, to get their name on the list. Scotland is much busier than even 2-3 years ago, and we will have to move on accommodation quite soon. PM or email me, or go to the thread in Future NG Events and Location Reveries - "Could there be another Scottish spring?"
