Nice color, Paco.  Which 35/1.8G?   DX or FX?  DX 35/1.8G was my favorite allrounder for D7000.

Dx. So far I´m very pleased with it in the d500. I got it for 120€, barely used with box and still under warranty... Hard to pass deal. It looks like it is more than capable even wide open, af is spot on with the d500 and it is a very light combo. I walked around with it today for the first time.

Yes, it is a very capable lens.  When I came back to Nikon from Panasonic GH5, I had to make a tough choice between this very combo and my current D750 and 50/1.8G combo.

I haven´t tried the 50 1.8 but camera wise, if you don´t need the extra speed, d750 is my choice too.
10 fps, 1.5 crop and superb af are a killer set for stage thou  :)

With the weather cooling down we made plans to do some shooting today, only to be shot down by rain.  :(

But, there's always tomorrow!  ;)
