There was no cookery going on here (sorry for the low-res image)

I found this in my garden a few weeks ago. Sadly the parents got run over on a nearby road,
Apparently you can't risk leaving young hedgehogs to hibernate on their own if they still weigh less than 500g by October. This one turned out to be too small for us to keep.

Autumn alpine colours. Lots of them, plus rain, fog, sleet, and snow.

Food is so-so. A hotel guest died during breakfast.
