Patrick: Yes, the D500 is an incredible piece of hardware. I would not recomnend to use her beyond 20k ISO. It is a pita to process the files and the usable resolution is far below the native resolution. Congratulations to your purchase!

Hi Frank,
Indeed it is an incredible machine, without doubt! 😊👍🏼
I went outside with a Nikon 24 1.4 and the D500 on Monday night, it was well dark outside and I just wanted to test the iso.
I found out that around 40K the iso was ok, and I believe I will use it on 40K when that’s absolutely needed! The camera ain’t mine but something I’ve borrowed from Birna, to test it before I eventually buy one myself! Who knows, perhaps I won’t go along with the camera or it me...☺️☺️ So it’s really great to get to test it properly before I spend money on a thing which I perhaps won’t use that much!😉👍🏼

Have a great day, Frank! Today the sun is shining and there’s practically no wind outside! 😊👍🏼🌇🌞☀️🌞

Patrick: yes, the 1.4/24 is great on the D500 but IMO the 1.8/20 is even better...

Kamagurka special type of humor, many strips of him were on display.

What are you complaining about? Better than a warm beer on a cold day isn't it?

I am not complaining. It is just a description of the current weather-conditions here.
