That will not help

At short range (say, 1m-1m50), the Voigt may well beat the Noct... none is definitely better ; only the price is indisputably, ahem, different.
I resisted three times - the first one was cheap (1300 €) but obviously defective ; the second was expensive (3000€) and when the price dropped to 2500, another buyer was faster ; the third one was even more expensive (3500) but I could not bargain it lower than 3000; finally I found one for 2200, an AIS in a good condition, and apparently a decent performer, no bad surprises.
When I did my first chart / brickwall tests at home against the Voigt, I was disappointed, but that was no catastrophe since reselling remained a possibility. In real life, it holds the comparison much better, especially the combination of high contrast and smooth bokeh at large apertures yields "punchy" images, very different from the 50/1.2 for instance.
