end day 11: still no diagnosis. still the same symptoms. still no hint when I might leave hospital. Lost five Kilos. They refuse to feed me here

Well the good side of an hospital stay is usually the loss of weight :D But I'm quite surprised they didn't find out what you have ?
Best wishes for a short stay and a quick remedy !

the good thig is: they found nothing severe, so parasites or bacteria are still possible along with a virus. the situation is stable: pain, fever, liters of sweat. only the daily mixture varies with time. tonight it is 39°C fever and PAIN FREE.

Yesterday evening pain was so hard I had to take pain killers before going to bed. The night before the hardest pain so far 9/10 at 3 a.m. with ten kidney kolik

Akira, thanks for commenting regarding this Dogwood. I can't picture what the involucres look like as I seem to stare blindly at the tree each spring in my yard and my eyes only open when the involucres open and reveal their beautiful color. I have another Dogwood which exhibits the same traits as this one except it is all white.

Thank you, Tom, for your reply.  Apparently the dogwood I was referring to is Cornus florida, and your image is of Cornus kousa.  The tips of the four involucres look different.

Very nice !!

Thank you, John!

I fled the scene to watch Roland Garros at my father's house. He is cooking and my familiy is due to arrive anytime soon. So I could take a self portrait in the garden...

... I am as sick as I am in the hospital but much happier!

Looks like the white balance is off - the blue of the lapis doesn’t come through at all. Maybe the lighting?

Jack,
The light was horrible, I did not see the blue with my eyes either, actually saw that it has blue details until I watched some videos at home
Also this shot is at ISO 3200 with the V1 so it would be hard to try to recover more details let alone color

Or maybe it is not the real thing ?

Thanks for commenting
