The new passage to the 'Primark'  ;)

Hope you will get better very soon, Frank.
On the advise of John, I switch to full frame and got a D750.
Cathédrale Sainte-Croix d'Orléans, France. (not Harry's wedding  :))
Nikon D750 + Angenieux 35-70 at 35 mm.

Very nice one, Christian.   I hope not on my advice only ;)

On a full frame the 35-70 Angenieux will show it's really wider on a full frame.  Wide open there are some lens distortion but easy to correct.    You like the D750?

Thank you John. Yes not totally on your avise, but I really wondered about D7500 or D500. I am very happy with the D750. Exactly the same panel as 7100 (unfortunately with the ISO selector badly placed...). I was at an airshow today, I have to check the result...

Ys, great rendering. A nice depth in the image.

Birna, this new system of yours is very promising for IR.

True, the d500 shows more definition and also contrast, the image from the D3 setup is still likeable though.

Apparently this is the case, yes. However not yet convinced I should let the old favourite, the 35-135/3.5-4.5 Nikkor, go permanently.

There is no denying the 18-140 has a convenient range of view, though, and its AF and VR work for IR too.

Fons: don't you think the difference mostly comes from the lens?

Birna: there is no need to drop one permanently, is there? Anyway having access to wide angle is essential for what I do in IR, I basically never use my 30-110 tele zoom on the V1 IR although it is excellent there.
