I guess the smashed one is Humpty Dumpty who had a great fall?!

We will never know but perhaps likely, or it broke because there was no room for it in the package when it was closed. It could be fun showing the image to the store on the next shopping trip just to see what the reaction will be.

This begs the question, would it have been better to have brought home the one before or the next package which probably had eleven eggs in it?

How many eggs did I smash on my way from the grocery store?   (Hint: Look again.)

I guess  the packaging machine has some holding mechanism, holding 12 new eggs over the pack after the first 12 are deposited. I guess further that this holding mechanism has a failiure rate higher than 0.001.

So go post it into the "Number 13" thread!

probably not. they will control the packages for weight. And while the one our friend bought might have been below the upper limit the 11 egg box might have been below the lower limit

Great shot but ugly editing. Do edit this black & white. Colors add nothing here. This is a superb geometry shot.

Thank you Frank, I will test in B&W.

Den Bosch, some fine weather today.

Df, 35-70mm f/3.5 ai

A very nice capture, Fons. I would like the frame a little lower, to see the entire wheels of the Vespa. Great Colours.

Good one Frank,
Also thanks Seapy for the fun comment, I do think I would prefer 12 eggs. We will see what happens at the store.

BTW, that was an unprocessed capture (except crop/resize) with my cheap cellphone that also has a broken protective glass on the lens. I thought it was much better than the one I took with one of my better DSLR bodies...
