If it was the D800E I would have said yes. On the other hand, E650 for a full frame camera with 36mp is pretty good.
It depends, how you see it. In my experience, the D800 is absolutely unique machine. Its abilities to detailing is marvelous, and level of noise produced by its sensor is amazingly low. It is impossible to compare this camera to ANYTHING else - 800E, 810, 850, 750, DF, 4 or 5 are great, but completely different machines, with its own pluses and minuses, each.
