Well, I'm quite excited to report that I just found and bought the grandfather of this ZUFAR-2 space lens from the Russian planet Mars exploration, thanks to my russian friend(s). It is a prototype lens with a very different internal name Ob-512, but company data (LOMO) confirmed my suspicion, it is indeed one or even "the" factory prototype of it.

Bit larger, quite heavier the prototype was - they changed the materials for the final product and saved aprox 20% weight (2.2 kilograms down to 1.8 ), very important for a 1976 space lens. The technical data of the final lens got also improved, viewing angle from approx. 3 degrees to 5 degrees, UV-VIS transmission from >50% to >57% (200-700nm). Back focal length remained at 51mm, very useful for a later adaptation...
