Great lenses, give some distance.      Have now the MF and the AF    Light (740gram)  vs Heavy (1190gram),  18cm  vs 20cm,      a bit of (easy correctable) coma vs perfection,   1:2   vs 1:1,  (but with 4T no problem)  Better with Distance  vs limited in Distance shots.

The MF is pretty rare in Europe, was lucky to find one.   The lens is only 2 cm taller than the 200mm QC. and with that size it fits easier in the camera bag and thus more flexible.

I own the 4/200 Ai-S. Superb lens in the near field, wonderful detail rendering & color fidelity. I do all my spontaneous food shots with it. Bokeh a bit "boxy" and technical in the far field, you can clearly see the hard edges of the aperture blades.

Thank you for you nice comments on my photos.

As I just noted on Alaun's post, Street Art is new to Goa but I caught this while downtown a few days ago.
I guess it would not work in NYC, Paris or London  ;)
No idea what the reflection is in the bottom left.  Not in the EVF. I shiny new car just to my right?

Thanks for the explantion Frank.   I noticed,  just asks some timing and bokeh-checking.  And also a matter of shooting a lot with F/4  ;)

Superb portrait!

A tad closely cut maybe, but that decision makes his eyes shine more ... my style is to show more environment ... yours is yours ... a chef is a chef ... think August Sander ... https://goo.gl/images/VWR8VQ

And here is my humble documentation of an industrial area they try to turn into a new habitat for people ... offices and residential (3 blocks of productional industry were here a few months ago for several decades)... Bonn is growing, now 320k, will be 420k in 20 years, good idea I built a 5 story residential house in the city center currently!

I always loved your shots, they feature these colors I associate with India (I love Rudyard Kipling, just read him to my daughter again).

I had you famous bicycle as my background in windows for many monts and my wife, arts historian still remembers this shot. Hope to visit you one day!
