When the new "mini Beast from the East" visited us last weekend I knew it was a unique opportunity to revisit Waterfall Swallet.
The drive was quite challenging, lost of snow drifting in the high winds on unprotected roads, cars sliding all over the place.
All the roads in the Peak District were officially unsafe and despite having snow tyres I had to change route a few times.
I got there in just over double the usual time, but the advantage was that I had a totally unspoilt scene all to myself for the whole duration, a very rare luxury indeed.
I wish it were even colder, but this is the best I could reasonably hope for, and I have tried my best to take some interesting images from this fairy place.
