yup, the image with the reflection is much nicer

on the color image, you can place the gray point on the right part of her top (left on the image) , that will  make the skin look warmer, probably more normal looking

if you want to continue experimenting a black & white conversion with a red filter will make the water close to black, contrast will probably have to be lowered so it doesn't look to extreme

The red filter is what I use for IR, so yes, it could be good to mount one on the AW1. I am just not sure how long they will last in salty waters, and whether the image quality would be decreased?

Don't use ordinary filters under water. They will be damaged. Besides, you expressly should not use a red filter under water as it will severely impact image quality.

I am not in Cres any longer, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't post images that were taken there
The time I spent here with my family and friends was pure joy and happiness. I will cherish the memories forever.
I did take my IR camera and I did take some photos, only to realise that I had forgotten my card reader at home in The Hague when I wanted to transfer them on my macbook.
And since the D200 has a compact flash card, unlike the Df and AW1, I wasn't able to process these earlier.

What is important to note, and what I suggest to everybody out there, is, do what you like the most when in grief and don't hold back!
I find the process of creating photos the best way to deal with and ease pain (and of course reading threads and viewing photos on our lovely NG community).
