Leaves look most beautifully when seen through the transmitted light.

I agree Akira.

Young Beeches tend to hold their leaves into the winter while the older ones drop theirs in the fall as other trees do. The late afternoon light came in and out of the clouds illuminating these when out. It was nice to wait for the light to shine and brighten them.

My only regret - that I can’t capture in the image more exactly what I see in the original moment.

This leaf under the normal light looked attractive and proved that there will always be some exception.
