Ron, in the big scheme of things, I´m happy that you are both ok and about your insurance. I hope you will be past this and stronger in no time.

  I like the image, how it represents a strong broken symmetry ( begining of everything)  and still being in harmony. Colors pleasant and with deep spiritual side. Interesting that I choose to see a sunrise.

That's a great thought.  Our move in day has moved up from October 3 to Sept 16 and we will get a larger place, probably one we could stay in indefinitely.  The rent isn't cheap, but eventually expenses connected with the house will go away.

I have posted nothing so far, thinking that words are only words, they cannot change anything for you, and they may seem a bit vacuous in the face of the enormous upheaval that you and your wife are experiencing.
And yet, knowing that others, who are not able to do anything for us, still feel for us and wish us to get through the ordeal as quickly and painlessly as possible, is a heart warming feeling.
I think it would be if I were in your place.
I hope that the forced change in your life will have its positive aspects, you certainly seem to have a positive attitude in the face of adversity.

Thank you Rick.  We moved to an apartment yesterday.  It's a really nice complex.

Thank you Ann.  It's a lot of work, retrieving things from storage and buying furniture.  Inventory is low on sofas due to the storm.  It's a good thing Houston was overbuilt with apartments otherwise I don't know where we would have gone.
