The Time Trial of this year's Binckbank Tour 2017 was held this year in my little town. The rain turned it into a dangerous event for the riders. It is amazing how skilled theses guys are on their bikes. Famours pros such as Tom Dumoulin, Tony Martin and Peter Sagan participated. Here's an impression:

Impressive sports shots. Conditions were a little on the wet side, were they not?

Impact especially left by #1
a little lesser so by  #2,#3, #4, #7, #8.
These are great shots, thanks for sharing Peter!

Thank you, guys for your kind words.
I have generalized the name of this thread into the theme 'cycling'.
Perhaps everyone can use this for cycling photos?

My favourites are the first and seventh - great pseudo-first person perspective in the reflection in his goggles.

Well, since you said it... otherwise I would not gatecrash your thread.
That is actually *me* so obviously I did not take the picture  ;D
But I have license to post it :)
Shot on the runway of RAF Valley in Anglesey - it was opened up for us cyclists during a sportive event last weekend.
Keen but definitely not the pro look, I still have quite a bit of fat in my body  ;)

Very nice two series Peter. I like the way you show movement in the second series.

Simone, nice to see fellow NG member sharing the same hobby.

Many times when I ride my bicycle to nice places I wish I had a proper camera with me.

Here two shots of me from this year's Alpenbrevet over four mountain passes - 172km distance and 5'294m climb:

Thank you, Armando, Anthony, Daniel and Fons. It took some practice to get this effect (slower shutter speed, fast tracking, closer to cyclist) but in the end I got what I wanted. I am glad you like it.
More to follow on unday. I will then use the Nikons instead of the Olympus PEN-F that I used today.

Daniel: that must have been a spectacular trip!
