Agreed with all the above. I like your choice of vantage point to make them look larger than life and, specially, to make me feel like a small entity wandering through a magic giant mushroom world.
Thanks for the trip  :)

Thank you very much Akira and Paco, i much appreciate you stopping by and commenting.

Akira, all of these are focus stacks. rather deep stacks i might add. Ranging between 30 and 75 image deep.

Paco, i had my camera upside down hanging from the tripod (reversed centre column), especially for the 3rd i had the top of the camera buried in the dirt (remember it was upside down). It was exactly my idea to give the gnome in the woods feeling with these.

Thanks!

Been out again to my favourite area nearby. Dreary weather, but alas, had to shoot something as i haven't been out for a while. I did get a little bit of a sunset at the closing moments  :D

Hope you like these ones!

Thanks Lars, much appreciated!

I'll go there once in a while, it's really close ... as in ... just outside the town i live in  ;D. Still difficult to find interesting things to shoot when going there.

Nice series, Hans.  Like especially that sun setting sky.  (Or is it Sunrise?)

Tried to shoot a pano during the same outing as the last images above, but i messed up  :-[. Decided to make a triptych out of it.

Hans, this triptych looks great - maybe better IMHO than had it been a pano.

Ok, so we had some snow in the NL. I went on the morning after the snowfall and almost missed the snow. There was still some around, but by the afternoon every bit of snow had melted away.

Went to the other side of this area than i usually enter for a (minute) change of scenery.

These are not portfolio images nor wall hangers, but i like the second one myself. Interested to hear your thoughts.

All are fine compositions, Hans.  It would be hard for me to choose a favorite.
