Greetings from Oklahoma
« on: March 27, 2017, 14:30:56 »
Hello all. New member here from a small town in southeastern Oklahoma, USA. Aviation and photography have always been the loves of my life, so what better hobby than to combine them. I spend a big part of my time chasing airplanes around Oklahoma and Texas taking pictures of them. Vintage aircraft have a special place in my heart, so that is where I typically focus. Starting to branch out to other subjects as well. Looking forward to interacting with all of you and becoming a part of the community.

Regards,

Bjørn Rørslett

Welcome and indeed dazzling.

There are so many opportunities for photography at and around an airshow. Do post about it (and other things).

Welcome. great image - and I agree with you - I like the older ones - one of the reasons being their sound. Soooo different to the new ones. I grew up around military planes. The old ones...

Thanks all, much appreciated. Yes Elsa, nothing beats the sound of an old radial coming to life. HCS you are correct, never know what you might see at an airshow  ;)

Haha, #5 - propelling a bike must be fun. Very cool! Welcome to Nikon Gear. Post more, these 2 are a compelling start.

Those planes seem to be burning a lot of oil. Probably bad valve seals, worst case new rings. They also look to be flying a little crooked...

Welcome!
