I am interested in getting comments about the Nikkor 18-35G. I am leaning towards buying it if it is included in a Nikkor rebate program this year. If you have this lens or have used it, how do you like it?

Only briefly used this lens and results were very good.

David Patterson here posts many fine images shot with 18-35G. Virtually all of his wideangle shots are shot with the zoom.

IMHO it's a lightweight, underrated, relatively cheap lens. Very nice for travel.
A few examples from my latest trip to Madrid.
