You've had a rich & productive September Akira.

The second one on 4th Sept intruiges me (trying to work out whether there are handrails in the centre of the steps, and how the illumination there works...)

LOL, Colin.  There are indeed handrails.  I just tried to nail the shooting position so that the bars would be perfectly aligned and become invisible.  It looks as if there are just the lights and the shadows: natural visual trick.  :)  If I remember correctly, the illumination lamps are embedded in the floor.

You were completely successful Akira!

For me, this was one of those visual puzzles where my brain wouldn't accept what my eyes were showing it.
(My brain does need to get out more though ;) )

Akira, never too late to comment on such a comment! To me that is very encouraging and I can only say the same about you - many thanks. So, what you see in my pictures might simply be me inspired by you  ;)     


A shot from "Pine shadowland" into the light. I always enjoy this view in the spring with the instense light in a dense Pine forest.
