Post your "blog" contributions here.

No theme (other than what the passage of time creates), no contest implied, a maximum of one picture per day in the actual month and no more than 4 images per month for NG members, up to 30 for Supporters. You can distribute the contributions as once per week if you so prefer.

The posted picture(s) must be taken within the designated time period.

Happy New Year, Fons!  Is it for BBQ or fireworks?   ;D  Either case, this is a fun image!

Lower quality because of having been taken on a phone and through perspex, but these were a first for me

The low sun and dense cloud make for an alternative view of the London skyline

A slightly more traditional view

Colin, the first image fantastically proves that "the best camera is what you have with you".  :)  Well captured!

4 pics per month is different from one pic per week. I can post my 4 favourites at the end of the period or I can post a series of four right in the middle.

Happy 2017. First snow. Going out to shoot.

As an NG Supporter, you are entitled to max. 30 images per month. The max. of 4 is for ordinary members.

We have given contributors the freedom of choosing the interval between their posted pictures. This is to de-emphasize the pressure to post *something* just to fill a quota. The schedule of once a week is doable for most NG members I'd guess, but is not required.

If there is a story behind the picture, by all means contribute that as well.

January 2nd

The first sun rays this year on our tiny spot of the planet.  This is in the Triangle park in the middle of the town, Wilhelminapark, designed by Leonard Springer in 1890.   The frost has just gone, and the first drops of water appear....
