I missed the first two when they were were posted. The colour and detail in #1 (oak-trees coming into full autumn colour) is spectacular when viewed on a large screen!
Thanks, Mike. Our oaks usually don't turn a nice colour but just go brown/drab. This one was a real exception which is how I noticed it in all the rain yesterday.
Jakov - thank you, also, you are very kind. It's easy to take lots of good landscape photographs, and I'll tell you my secret formula -
1. Live in a beautiful place.
2. It's best to be retired, so you have plenty of time and nothing else to do.
3. Have a large dog which insists on long walks twice a day.
3. Take a camera EVERY time you walk, regardless of weather.
That's it. My secret is out.
