Norwegian Post-Celebration Trip
« on: October 03, 2016, 18:49:50 »
Immediately after a most enjoyable birthday party, involving a lot of family and friends, Erik and I started on our post-party adventure inland southern Norway.

Seeing the special Norwegian race of flying elks led us to a rapid halt. To paraphrase the well-known saying, “Furthermore, I am of the opinion that Carthage should be destroyedthe AFS 105mm f/1.4 Nikkor E should not be purchased”  yet glad I didn't heed the advice :D

Happy birthday, and enjoy the trip!

I believe that Jakov's repeated statement is actually an antiphrasis...

Where you thinking of the Carthaginian Empire. I think it was destroyed a couple of millenniums back.

I've heard of flying reindeer? I've never seen one.

While Erik explored the cliffs of the Jutulhogget Canyon, I focused (sic) on the wonderful reds of bilberries Vaccinium myrtillus interspersed in the thick warm white mats of Cetraria lichens nearby.

The lens that shall not be named and the Erik-special extension ring again in action.

Happy birthday, Bjørn!  I'm enjoying beautifully rich autumn color!

It it a bit too early to enjoy the autumn color here in Tokyo.  The weather forecast says that today it will be over 30 degrees Celsius!

Grattis! Looks like the weather might be boring :) Could I recomend going up to Røros to catch some of the autmn colors? A short trip to Trøndelag isnt the worst thing one could do while in Norway ;)
