Unfortunately the maple tree is the only one I can identify...  The dual-color leaves in the center give nice accents here, I think anyway.

Both of your images conveys the atmosphere nicely.  I also like the way the flare works in John's image.

I'm visiting family in Augusta, Georgia area, where autumn is much less advanced than home in Vermont.  Traveling very light, with nothing but a Canon A590 that I got at a yard sale last year for four or five bucks.  But anyway, the poison ivy along the Augusta Canal is kind of pretty, even when it's a little soft.

That's an impressive pinhole shot.  A lot less dramatic than Tokyo is autumn in Georgia, where green and brown share the stage.
