I always put my default frame without thinking much, but something lighter would have been better. My post has been modified accordingly.

It has been quite warm in Tokyo, and we just started to see autumn colors.

Akira - great depiction of the status of the seasons here in Tokyo. One has to look quite hard to spot the colours. Around us here in Roppongi, many of the trees are merely losing their leaves before they colour.

The climate in Tokyo is really strange this year.  Osmanthus bloomed twice: first time at the normal timing and second time when it became warm again.

Posting a false-colour infrared image almost feels like cheating as one is virtually guaranteed a wash of "autumn" colours. This is a panorama of Atnedalen valley on the eastern part of the Rondane range ('Rondane' means 'rounded [mountains]' and it's easy to see why the range got its name).

Eight frames stitched. The small web format doesn't do any justice to all the magnificent detail of the original, though.
