In some countries, the use of the word "blind" could be confusing.
I believe Americans use it to mean a "hide" (as an English speaker might say) or somewhere to observe wildlife without being seen.

They have a sense of humour eh Brute ;)

Such a cute name for the Mountain Avens Dryas octopetala --'fjallabruđur' (meaning 'Mountain Bride', the Norwegian name of this species, reinrose ('Reindeer Rose') pales in comparison) :)
