Lars there should be seakale, Crambe maritima, on the Danish shores as well, E.m. is protected in Holland as well.

Fons - you are quite right .. here is an older shot from same location. Great flower composition in #71 - I like both expressions.

Fons, I really prefer the first one of those  two. In part it did remind me of classic painting which often used a bark backdrop for a still-life (o how easy it is to act smart after all the facts have been revealed )

But also because the OoF rendering is much more prominent and accentuated in that photo.

The filter is called "midnight" and can be found in the "NIK collection Color Efx 2" ... here is the proof ... I just took the second one and applied "midnight" & curves "auto"
