No winter shots.  Just started going out just for the covered bridges this summer.
Wife's idea but I'm not complaining  ;).

The Devil's Bridge, island of Torcello, Venetian Lagoon.

There are various unpleasant stories as to how the bridge got its name. I suspect it was just down to the lack of guard rails.

Yes, impressive. I put one more picture to give a scale: On the lower arches you can see peoples. The purpose of this aqueduct was to supply water to the near town. On top of the bridge there is a canal covert with huge slabs, which are the top.
