Fons, is the cheese dairy and the clog maker still at Zaanse Schans?, I haven't been there for nearly 25 years now, but I do remember three windmills and that it was freezing cold in April!

Cheesemakers are still there and April this year is still very cold, i have been to Zaan only this once :) a few years ago now in November 2015 it was.

Yes, from the Sjælland side. There is a lay-by before the bridge that allows unrestricted view of the strait and the bridge. Vantage point is very low, though.

If you walk under the bridge and approx 250 meters longer north you can get a bit higher on a moraine hill but from that vantage point the bridge will be backlight unless you are there in the evening.
