Northern Norway trip
« on: July 30, 2016, 22:55:15 »
Our holiday is slowly drawing to an end and the following are a few images trying to reflect the things my family and I have experienced.
The first is from Aunfjellet, view across Kvæfjord towards the southern part of Hinnøya.
The second is an old barn we passed on our way to Nyksund.
Third one is from Vottestad with Nyksund in the distance.

I love the last one. Looks a bit like an old negative.

#1 looks beautiful.  I like the texture seen on the surface of the sea.  Nice capture!

Very nice Sten! Love the editing. You have really been working your colors. Especially love the barn house with the foggy backdrop.

To follow up...
First one needs no description, just two roofs from Henningsvær.
Second one (IR) is "Svolværgeita" (The Svolvær Goat) - a cliff capped by two "horns".
Third one is also infrared - a lone dried cod swaying on a wall.
Fourth is from Borg, a viking site/museum. I like how the D500 at ISO 5000 meters well and keep colours at bay.
Fifth - nature wins (IR).

Hi Steen
Just been in Svolvær, but we just heard abut the goat, nice to see it. Not easy to spot.
Nice pictures.

I like the geometry shot #11.1 and the dead fish hanging on the eave. You never ever see the latter in Germany....
