Our holiday is slowly drawing to an end and the following are a few images trying to reflect the things my family and I have experienced.
The first is from Aunfjellet, view across Kvæfjord towards the southern part of Hinnøya.
The second is an old barn we passed on our way to Nyksund.
Third one is from Vottestad with Nyksund in the distance.
-
Henningsvær through R72 glassed D5300.
-
I love the last one. Looks a bit like an old negative.
-
#1 looks beautiful. I like the texture seen on the surface of the sea. Nice capture!
-
Superb ! Give us more ....
-
Very nice Sten! Love the editing. You have really been working your colors. Especially love the barn house with the foggy backdrop.
-
Beautiful, Sten. The red barn and foggy hills is my favo too.
-
Great series, the last one shows a very interesting scene
-
Beautiful images, thanks for posting.
-
I also love the second one after revisiting this thread for the xxx time.
I like to see more.
-
Thanks for your feedback guys!
Here's another from Kvæfjord. Andøya in the distance.

To follow up...
First one needs no description, just two roofs from Henningsvær.
Second one (IR) is "Svolværgeita" (The Svolvær Goat) - a cliff capped by two "horns".
Third one is also infrared - a lone dried cod swaying on a wall.
Fourth is from Borg, a viking site/museum. I like how the D500 at ISO 5000 meters well and keep colours at bay.
Fifth - nature wins (IR).
-
Sten is a master photographer. Would not know which to pick :)
-
Hi Steen
Just been in Svolvær, but we just heard abut the goat, nice to see it. Not easy to spot.
Nice pictures.
-
I like the geometry shot #11.1 and the dead fish hanging on the eave. You never ever see the latter in Germany....

....
I love all the 4 shots in the second series. Each of them are unique, creative and artistic. Thanks for sharing Sten!
-
Sten, I'm enjoying various treatments of IR images!
-
And to round things off...too late for the midnight sun but at 11PM it is close enough:
-
Now that's a striking image!
-
This last one is a really fantastic image!
-
I completely agree with Anthony and Peter. Stunningly good...
-
Fantastic series with a strike at the end!
-
The last picture looks like a scene from a fancy dream.
Very interesting the layerd construction and color intensity.
