Mike - good to hear from you again. I forgot to tell you before - when everything was packed and cleared on the final day of the "event", Mayumi and I fell heir to some food and drink items. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the Japanese single-malt bottle, but - of course - those NG
booze-hounds connoisseurs had scooped the lot, except for about a thimbleful. Since Mayumi had not previously tasted it, I felt honour-bound to share it with her - that might just be the kindest gesture I have ever made to her.

There was plenty of the Tasmanian scotch.
